A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday June 11, 2008 @ 11:00 AM inside Peake Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Ruth Louise Wetzel-White who passed away June 4, 2008 at age 89. Ruth was born August 26,1918 in Portland, Oregon. She married Arthur Wetzel in 1945, he passed away in 1969. She then married her 2nd husband, Clifton White in 1972, and he passed away in 2003. Ruth worked as a Seamstress for Portland Public Schools. She is survived by her sister Sue Oversby, and her 2 step-children Rodney White and Jerriene White. She was a step-grandmother to 7, Step- Great Grandmother to 7, and Step- Great-Great-Grandmother to 11. Following the services at Peake, entombment will take place at Lincoln Memorial Mausoleum in Portland,Oregon. Contributions to the Oregon Humane Society.
