Our family’s need for funeral services came unexpectedly with a tragic death. The death occurred in Washington state, 3.5 hours away from home. A friend recommended Stehn to us. When I called, Susie was so compassionate and capable. In my grief I wasn’t able to think clearly. Susie orchestrated with the local funeral home in Washington to have the body transported home the very next morning. She even personally made the trip to ensure our family member was cared for. From there, she and Amanda gently guided us through the whole funeral planning process. The funeral was absolutely beautiful. Although I wish we didn’t need their services, I can say Stehn funeral home is exceptional at providing compassionate care during the worst moment of people’s lives. I highly recommend them. We will always be grateful for their services.

My mom passed away and I chose Stehn Family Chapels to take care of the funeral arrangements. Mark and Susie were so helpful and walked me through the process step by step. I really felt cared for in every way. They were attentive, communicative and caring. The memorial fliers were put together beautifully with no errors. Stehn Family Chapels was affordable and Mark was up front about the services available and the associated costs. I would recommend Stehn Family Chapels to anyone without question.

The team was very helpful in our time of need. Because of their knowledge and experience, it streamlined the process. They had answers to all of our questions and helped us with examples of biographies, etc. All in all, they made a difficult process much easier! I recommend their services wholeheartedly!

Mark and Elizabeth at Stehn's were incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. My mom passed away suddenly and I had no idea what to do. I am so very lucky to have found Stehn's! Mark helped me understand what needed to be done, he explained options and supported every decision I made, and he gave me time and attention at each new step. It was overwhelming to lose a parent and Mark made me feel like family. I am forever grateful - Stehn's will be the best decision you make in your time of need!

I cannot put into words how amazing Mark and his staff were at a terribly difficult time in our family’s life. He handled my mother in law’s passing 4 years ago and just last month, my sister’s untimely passing. They were always two steps ahead in dealing with the multitude of things that one faces during this period and took so much worry and headaches off our plates. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I can’t say thank you enough to the amazing compassionate staff at Stehn Family Chapels. This year has been extremely difficult. My Dad lost the love of his life on January 20, 2023. Amanda was extremely compassionate and empathetic as we went through this very difficult time for my Dad. My Dad was very impressed (mind you… my Dad is NOT impressed easily) and grateful for how Amanda took her time and explained the steps needed to lay his love to rest. Not quite a year later my Dad passed and joined his love. I knew it would make my Dads heart smile to know that the same loving hands that took care of his love would also be the ones to take care of him. The compassion and genuine care that both Amanda and Elizabeth bestowed on my family will never be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loving care. Sincerely, Mandy💕

The Stehn Family was very comforting and professional to work with. Our family had many challenges to overcome but Mark & Amanda worked diligently to make our father's final passing a smooth and respectful one. They took care of our uncle prior and because of the way they handled his passing we choose them for our father. They're a good place to go for yours as well.

During the most difficult time of my life, the death of my husband, Mark and the staff of Stehns Family Chapel were there for me through the entire process. They helped me with all the decisions that had to be made including arranging for the burial at Willamette National Cemetary. They have checked with me several times since to make sure I am doing OK. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.
